內容概要

本書延續了Forouzan一貫的風格，以通俗易懂的方式全面闡述了網絡技術及其應用。本書自第1版引進國內以來，對網絡課程教學產生了較大影響，被多所名校采用為教材，成為清華大學和中科院博士入學考試網絡課程的主要參考書。    本書以因特網五層模型為框架，以形象直觀的描述手法，詳細地介紹了數據通信和網絡領域的基礎知識、基本概念、基本原理和實踐方法，堪稱數據通信和網絡方面的經典著作。另外，本書的一大特色是圖表眾多，并且盡量少地使用數學公式。    為了與當前迅速發展的網絡技術同步，第4版從結構到內容都進行了一些變動。增加了新的一章“因特網中的網絡管理” （第28章）；修訂后的第30章、第31章和第32章涉及因特網和建網中最新的安全問題，以適應日益增強的安全重要性；涵蓋了多路復用、SONET技術、IP尋址以及交換等主題。

作者簡介

佛羅贊，畢業于加州大學艾爾溫分校，現在是迪安那大學教授，從事計算機信息系統專業的課程設置。此外，他還是多家公司的系統開發咨詢顧問。除本書外，Forouzan還著有多部成功的編程與網絡方面的書，包括《TCP/IP Protocol Suite》和《Local Area Networks》等。
